SpeechTrim is designed to process your audio and video primarily on your device. This policy describes the data used by the app and its purchase provider.
Media files
Media that you explicitly choose from Photos or Files is used to analyze silence, display the waveform, preview edits and export a new file. SpeechTrim does not upload imported media to a developer-operated server.
WhisperKit model
If you enable filler-word detection, SpeechTrim downloads and caches the local WhisperKit Core ML model when needed. Imported media stays on the device and is not uploaded to SpeechTrim or RevenueCat.
Purchases
SpeechTrim uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and Pro entitlement status. RevenueCat may process purchase history, product identifiers, entitlement status and an anonymous app user identifier needed for purchase functionality. SpeechTrim does not create a user account and does not send imported media to RevenueCat.
Local settings and retention
Editing settings and onboarding and editing settings are stored locally on your device. Temporary media files created during analysis, preview and export are cleaned up when they are no longer needed. App-local settings can be removed by deleting the app.
Tracking and advertising
SpeechTrim contains no advertising and does not use data for cross-app tracking.
Your choices and deletion
You can disable filler-word detection at any time in SpeechTrim settings. To request help with purchase-related data, contact support. For app-local data, delete SpeechTrim from your device. See Data deletion for details.
