Troubleshooting

A face or detail was not found

Automatic detection can miss very small, turned-away or covered faces. Open Manual and use Brush, Rectangle or Ellipse. Photos marked Review in a batch should always be checked.

An area is too small or in the wrong place

Tap the area to select it, drag it to move it and pull a corner handle to resize it. Tap it again to hide or show it.

Is blur as safe as black?

Black and Color replace the pixels completely. Blur and Mosaic hide detail visually; for highly sensitive content such as ID or card numbers, use Black.

A photo cannot be opened

Blur Photo supports HEIC, JPEG, PNG, WebP and TIFF still images. Corrupt files and animated images may be rejected. Try exporting a single still frame if needed.

Export does not work

Check available storage and permission to add to Photos. A failed export does not delete your current edit.

A purchase is not recognised

Open Settings → Restore Purchases. Purchases belong to your App Store account, not to a Blur Photo account.

Fehlerhilfe
